In a fast-paced and entertaining game, the U16s were defeated by the 2006 vintage of Rot-Weiß Frankfurt with 2:4 on Wednesday evening. It's time to say thank you.

By JFZ Director Deniz Solmaz

In the last few years, I felt like I was in an ICE train that was thundering through the republic at 250km/h. What the club has developed, especially in the last three years, is crazy.
The player is and has always been the focus of our daily work. We adults are not allowed to play the main role and that's how I try to lead the club. Tough, direct and human communication is indispensable in this. But it doesn't help if I represent this idea alone and that's exactly why I just want to say thank you.

Thanks to the players. Our direct and demanding approach is certainly not always easy for you. Especially if you are new in our club. But after some time it often fits really well. The training participation is really high in all teams. You live the open contact and are mega motivated in the matter.

Thanks to the coaching staff. You are amazing! For you, every player is absolutely in focus, both humanly and athletically. You train the boys and are always there when they need something. I think of the countless conversations in our office, and you don't take yourselves too seriously. Of course, a tasty beer or a sauna after training is also part of it.
Especially during the Corona time everyone could see that you are always there for the players. There were weeks when all of you together did 300! individual training sessions in one week, so that the players could get out of their homes. You called or wrote to them.

Thanks also to my supporters in the background. A department this large doesn't run itself. The number of supporters has grown rapidly over the past few years. More and more people like the idea of focusing on the player. Without their help, many things would not be possible here. Whenever I have a crazy idea you try to implement it somehow, awesome!

Thanks also to all the former TSG players with whom we are still in contact.
Again and again we get visitors from you and you keep yourselves fit here, although you are no longer active with us. Here you always have a home and are welcome at any time. You know that you were once Wiesecker and you will always be Wiesecker, no matter where you are now.

Thanks also to the parents. The player is in the foreground. That's why we always try to communicate directly with the players themselves. This is not always easy for some parents. But this shows that the player learns personal responsibility. We want to judge each player fairly, regardless of his background and social position. So that we are not accompanied by outside influences, we try to distance ourselves somewhat in a friendly way. I have to say: This works really well. The players feel comfortable and the atmosphere outside the court is also totally peaceful. There are no disturbing influences from outside and no coaching related to one's own child. This calm atmosphere off the court has a direct positive effect on the team on the court.

Thanks to all who help to give the players a perfect education. They are only young once and therefore we all have the duty to give them a good time.
